Academy Receives Grant for Digital Arts Program

The Academy has been awarded a significant grant to expand its Digital Arts program with new equipment and courses.

The Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic is pleased to announce that it has received a substantial grant from the International Digital Arts Foundation to expand and enhance its Digital Arts program. The grant, totaling $250,000, will fund new equipment, software, and curriculum development.

The expanded program will include new courses in animation, game design, virtual reality art, and digital filmmaking. The Academy will also establish a dedicated Digital Arts Lab equipped with the latest technology, including high-performance computers, drawing tablets, 3D printers, and VR equipment.

This initiative responds to the growing demand for digital art skills in the global creative economy and aims to position our graduates at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field. The expanded program will launch in the fall semester of 2025, with applications opening next month.

An information session about the new Digital Arts offerings will be held on April 5 at 3:00 PM in the Main Lecture Hall. Interested students and prospective applicants are encouraged to attend to learn more about the program and the exciting opportunities it presents.
